Private cardiology tests at Venturi are:
During this low dose CT scan of your heart, our cardiologists can measure the build-up of calcium within the arteries. Increased calcium levels can be an indicator of progressing heart disease. Following this cardiology test, we work with you on a tailored plan to help you reduce your risk of heart attacks.
This is one of the more detailed types of cardiology tests you can undergo. X-ray dye is injected into the vein in your arm showing any narrowing or blockages of your arteries. You’ll receive your results in the same appointment.
This non-invasive cardiology test uses sound wave to build up pictures of your heart.
Another non-invasive test that records the electrical activity of your heart, including its rate and rhythm. This allows our cardiologists to check for evidence of cardiovascular problems.
Kardia is a small, portable ECG monitor that fits into your pocket. It allows you to record your heart rate on the go, to track atrial fibrillation and other conditions.
During our friendly consultations in the clinic, we carry out blood tests. In many cases you will receive the results of your test straight away. The tests allows us to check for a range of conditions, like diabetes, high cholesterol and risk of a heart attack.
What happens after your cardiology tests are completed?
